Take the Leap
It all begins with an idea! Every single thing we do in life starts as an idea whether good or bad. For me, I’ve always wanted to be in the fashion industry. Even as a little girl, I wanted to become a fashion designer. As I’ve gotten older, styling became more appealing because I am able to get to know those I work with on a deeper level. It’s not just another job. I believe it is my ministry and what God has called me to do. Styling allows me to get to know people while at the same time serving them. I love serving! More importantly I love ministering…. whether it be by encouragement, prayer, or uplifting, I love people and I love bringing out the best in them.
God has granted me several different talents and abilities. One talent is working with technology. I’ve often found myself in every technical opportunity I have been granted, ministering to the people around me. I give advice as well as help individuals see things in themselves that they couldn’t see. However, the Lord leads is the direction that I like to go in.
No matter what I’ve done in life, I’ve never been able to shake the thought of being a Personal Stylist. Over the course of my life, I ’ve styled for fashion shows, boutiques, for individuals, etc. This year, I decided to take a leap of faith! I’m betting on me for a change. There are many unknowns in this chapter, but one thing I know for sure, is that God has me. I know He does, because my heart is in the right place. My goal is to help as many people as I can before my time is up here on earth. Whatever that looks like, I’m down for it!
My prayer is that my story inspires you to take the leap! What is that thing that you have always wanted to do, that never left? What are you great at, that is almost effortless for you to do? Does this thing allow you to be the best you? Take the leap and allow God to meet you where you are!
Please enjoy the below scriptures that have encouraged me along this journey!!
Psalm 37:5 (NLT) - Commit everything you do to the LORD. Trust him, and he will help you.
Jeremiah 29:11 - For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope.
Deuteronomy 28:12 (NLT) - The LORD will send rain at the proper time from his rich treasury in the heavens and will bless all the work you do. You will lend to many nations, but you will never need to borrow from them.
